FRAMEFREE® TECHNOLOGIES ALIGNS WITH SMEDIA TECHNOLOGY TO INCLUDE FRAMEFREE STUDIO ON GLAMO CELLUAR PHONE MULTIMEDIA CHIPSET

FrameFree Technologies , developers of a family of products that provide easy and efficient authoring and compression of motion imagery, today announced an alliance with SMedia Technology Corporation, a company that delivers a full-range of innovative and high performance 3D graphics and multimedia products. The partnership will put the recently-launched FrameFree Studio product on the SMedia's Glamo chipset, found in mobile phones around the world. FrameFree Studio will begin shipping on the Glamo family of cellular multimedia co-processors during the fourth quarter of this year.
SMedia's Glamo chip allows mobile media abilities such as 2D and 3D graphics, as well as video, and with FrameFree Studio included, the door has opened for game and content developers and media companies worldwide to capitalize on a burgeoning platform for high speed content delivery to all mobile phones. Additionally, the alliance brings an enhanced gaming and mobile media experience to any device, no matter how high- or low-end, for a fraction of the costs normally associated with that process.
